Prof. Ching-Ray Chang received his B.S. degree in physics from National Taiwan University (NTU), Taipei, Taiwan, 1979, and Ph.D. the of California, San Diego, 1988. Since 1989, he has been with NTU had chance to serve as executive vice president interim university. worked micromagnetic numerical modeling since 1980. He not only carried out pioneering studies structures but also applied Landau-Lifschitz equation subnanosecond analysis. made significant scientific contributions a great impact on understanding nucleation, spin dynamics, thermal activation magnetic materials well transport low-dimensional materials. served both Taiwanese Physical Society Associations Magnetic Technologies. is Fellow IEEE Antennas Propagation Society. was committee member chair Taipei Chapter. general InterMag 2011 Taipei. authored more than 280 papers held 28 magnetic-related patents. awarded Nanotechnology Best Paper Award 2019.
